Transit Van Connect
Ford seems to market this Transit Van as a work horse, a van that is able to out-live most vans. Like many vans this van has won an award, it is the Transit Panel Van that has the accolade. The Transit Van falls into the small van category and is priced from just under £11,000 plus VAT. Both short and long wheel base models are available.
Recently the Transit has been re-modeled with upgraded interior and exterior and better diesel engines. The steel body construction is advanced and provides a good level of safety and durability.
The van driver’s comfort is supported by a new seat and is claimed to provide a better drive!
Ford has made effort to increase the load space; it has widened the load space by employing very wide doors. Loads can be significant because Ford have taken time to position the wheels in the right place.
Tourneo Van Connect
The Ford Tourneo Van Connect is specifically designed to drive like a car and aims to be more responsive and easy to maneuver. Unlike the Transit Van Connect this van is for light work around town, it has two side doors and two rear doors and is priced at £16000 plus VAT.
Ford boasts the following features: - back doors that open to the max, fog lights, body coloured decal, heated visibility aids and economic diesel engines.

Transit Van
The Ford Transit Van remains very versatile with three wheelbase options that include short, medium and jumbo. The medium wheel base option has several roof height options. The Jumbo Transit can carry five Euro pallets. Prices start from just under £15,000 plus VAT.
Ford claims the same car like features as the Tourneo Van Connect. The engines remain powerful and comply with the most recent EU regulations. The cab has been improved significantly.
Unfortunately alloy wheels, cruise control, Air Conditioning and Sat Nav are all optional extras.
Transit Minibus
Whilst the Ford Transit Minibus is not a van it is certainly worth a mention. Based on the Transit Van this vehicle has the ability to carry between 9 and 16 passengers. Prices start from £21,000 plus VAT.
Ford Tourneo
Again not a van but an 8 to 9 seat vehicle that is designed for executive travel. Prices start from £23,000 plus VAT. The 9 seat vehicle is called Ford Tourneo and the 8 seat is called Ford Torneo GLX.
Ford Ranger
Ford’s pick up truck is called Ford Ranger and can be purchased as a single cab, double cab or super cab and with an option of 4-wheel drive. Prices start from £12,000 plus VAT. Pick-up vehicles are considered to contend with small vans. Models include Ranger, XLT, Thunder and Wildtrak.
Transit One-Stop
The one-stop version if the Ford Transit Van provides many options that include Dropside, Tipper and Box. Ford can undertake conversions to create bespoke models that suit most types of businesses. All variations seem to be in either single or double cab. Prices vary considerably but start at £16,000 plus VAT.
Options include cruise control, air conditioning, Sat Nav and an integrated filing system. ABS is also an option.
Transit Chassis Cab
A Transit that is almost considered a build your own option from Ford. Vans can differ significantly as many options exist. For example one can vary the following: -

Prices vary significantly but Ford claim that prices start from £14,500 plus VAT.
Fiesta Van
No one can say that they have never seen a Fiesta Van on the road. Many Fiesta Vans are hard at work on our roads and we can only credit this to Ford’s remarkable achievements. The current range of Fiesta vans includes a 1.3-litre petrol engine, a 1.4-litre diesel engine or the Fiesta Sport van that has a 1.6-litre diesel engine. Prices start from just under £9,000 plus VAT.
The Fiesta Vans length, width and load capacity makes it one of the best in its class. Options include ABS, power steering and a passenger air bag.
