Hiace Van

The Toyota Hiace Van is a Panel Van and comes as either a long or short wheel base van. Two economical 2.5-litre diesel engines are available. The Hiace can take up-to two Euro pallets and a payload of 1180kg. Prices start from £13,000 to £15,500.

The tailgate can either open upwards (as one tail lift door) or outwards (as two opening doors). The minimum loading height is 525 mm making forklift loading easy.

The Hiace has a very effective sound proofing kit and keeps vibrations to a minimum.

The Gross Vehicle Weight is 3 tonnes.

The Vans turning radius is between 5.5 metres and 6.2 metres and depends on the wheel base purchased.

Like many small vans this van has car like manoeuvrability and possesses safety features that are normally only present on cars.

A professional pack (extra cost) provides Air Conditioning and parking sensors. SatNav is a further optional extra.

The van can be purchased in white, red, blue or silver.

The maximum load volume ranges from 6 cubic metres (short wheelbase) to 7 cubic metres (long wheelbase).

A side sliding door is available on both the short and long wheelbase vans.

Servicing intervals are 10,000 miles or yearly with a major service every other service.

Toyota’s manufacturers warranty extends to three years or 60,000 miles.

Free RAC cover (breakdown cover) for one year is included with every purchase.

Toyota insurance can be arranged but alternative insurance can be arranged with Van Insurance Limited.
